PNP: 935 cops axed, 242 demoted
Almost a thousand police officers have been dismissed from service since January last year due to their unscrupulous activities and misdemeanors. The Philippine National Police said on Tuesday that from Jan. 1, 2022 to Aug. 30, 2023, a total of 935 police personnel have been dismissed from service, 242 demoted in rank and 1,850 suspended
