Cagayan, Eastern Samar suffered from extreme heat index of 47 °C on Sunday
MANILA, Philippines — Two areas experienced extreme heat index 47 °C on Sunday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). The state weather bureau’s report said these areas are Aparri in Cagayan and Guiuan in Eastern Samar. Two other areas were under 45°C: Laoag City in Ilocos Norte and Dagupan City
